Ratcliff Ranch is a registered and commercial Angus operation in the heart of some of the richest grassland in Oklahoma. Started in the late 60’s, Ratcliff Ranch began as a commercial cow/calf operation to produce high performing bulls for their customers. Ratcliff chose the Angus breed because he wanted trouble-free cattle that would fit his Oklahoma environment. As the herd grew so did the demand for more bulls and commercial replacement females. Ratcliff Ranch responded by increasing the size of their registered cowherd, using A.I. and beginning to use performance data to plan matings. The results have been more predictable, higher performing bulls and stronger maternal females that have been widely accepted by both registered and commercial producers across the U.S.
